Must:
We are seeking an experienced data management professional who has proven experience leading data quality initiatives in large or regulated organisations. You should possess a strong understanding of data governance, data management, and metadata practices. Hands-on experience with data quality tooling, such as Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Collibra, or Talend, is essential. Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures like Azure, Databricks, and Power BI is also important. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are a must, and experience in regulated industries—such as utilities, finance, healthcare, or the public sector—is desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive Data Quality Framework, establishing strategies, principles, and an operating model for the programme. You will collaborate with data owners and stewards to define and agree on data quality dimensions, metrics, and thresholds. Additionally, you will configure and operationalize data quality tooling to enable profiling, monitoring, and remediation workflows. Partnering with the Data Governance Lead, you will embed ownership, stewardship, and accountability for data quality across the organisation. You will work closely with the Data Technology and Analytics Enablement teams to integrate quality checks within ingestion, transformation, and reporting pipelines. Your responsibilities will also include identifying and prioritizing Critical Data Elements (CDEs), developing data quality dashboards and reports, and defining and managing data issue processes, including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
