Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years previous relevant auditing experience in Cyber Security
- Proven practical experience of assessing cyber and technology risks and key controls in various cyber-related areas
- Solid understanding of technology infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies and related architecture and security frameworks
- Technically proficient, with hands-on technology experience (e.g. security testing, ethical hacking)
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of Information and Cyber Security best practices, threats, risks, frameworks and standards (NIST, MITRE, ISO27001)
- SOC background / Network / Encryption experience is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Data Analytics; Python, Power BI
Qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Responsibilities
- Identify control gaps and clearly articulate findings to senior stakeholders
- Conduct auditing of cyber security measures within financial services
- Assess cyber and technology risks and evaluate key controls
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand infrastructure and security frameworks
- Provide insights on best practices in information and cyber security
- Develop reports and presentations based on findings
Description
We are a leading Financial Services provider based in London and Edinburgh, seeking a skilled Cyber Security Auditor for a 4-month contract role. This position allows for a hybrid work setup, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. We offer a competitive pay rate of £520/day inside IR35.
