Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Experience with database migration, validating and testing data movement across heterogeneous systems.
- Hands-on testing experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipelines, triggers, and data flows.
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and understanding of data warehousing concepts and testing strategies.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL and DocumentDB (Cosmos DB) queries, capable of writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries for data validation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and manage timelines.
- Proven track record of successful implementation of case studies involving similar technologies.
Responsibilities
- Validate and test data movement across various systems during database migration.
- Conduct hands-on testing of Azure Data Factory pipelines, triggers, and data flows.
- Develop and execute complex SQL and DocumentDB queries for data validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Manage timelines and deliverables while maintaining high-quality standards in testing processes.
- Participate in discussions regarding data warehousing concepts and testing strategies for Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Document and report findings, providing recommendations for improvements based on testing results.
