Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years previous relevant auditing experience in Cyber Security
- Proven practical experience of assessing cyber and technology risks and key controls in various cyber-related areas
- Solid understanding of technology infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies and related architecture and security frameworks
- Technically proficient, with hands-on technology experience (e.g. security testing, ethical hacking)
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of Information and Cyber Security best practices, threats, risks, frameworks and standards (NIST, MITRE, ISO27001)
- SOC background / Network / Encryption experience is beneficial
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in data analytics; Python, Power BI
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Responsibilities
- Identify control gaps and clearly articulate findings to senior stakeholders
- Conduct audits related to Cyber Security within the financial services sector
- Assess cyber and technology risks and key controls
- Utilize technology infrastructure knowledge to evaluate security measures
- Perform security testing and ethical hacking as necessary
- Stay up-to-date with Information and Cyber Security best practices and frameworks
Description
We are a Financial Services client seeking a Cyber Security Auditor to join our team in a hybrid work environment located in London or Edinburgh. This is a 4-month contract role, offering a competitive pay rate of £520/day inside IR35. You will work primarily from home with 2 days required in the office each week.
