Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone who has previously worked as a Web Developer, Full Stack Developer, Python Developer, Django Developer, Digital Developer, or in a similar role. You should have experience with Django, Wagtail, and Python, as well as skills in modern version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of frontend technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with an understanding of browser compatibility, responsive design, and styling frameworks.
Responsibilities
As our Web Developer / Python Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the migration from Django CMS to Wagtail CMS, ensuring smooth integration and functionality. You will develop new features for the website, enhancing its capabilities and user experience while maintaining a clean and manageable codebase for easy scalability for our small team. You will make key architectural decisions for both backend and frontend integration and support the software, occasionally working outside of regular hours to resolve critical issues. You will also contribute to technical project proposals and internal documentation, provide support and training to internal users of the Wagtail system, and collaborate across the tech stack, occasionally building APIs to connect various web apps, including the CRM system.
Description
