Must:
We are looking for individuals with experience as an IT Trainer, ideally within a legal or professional service environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong team collaboration and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust their tone to suit various audiences. It’s essential to build relationships effectively with colleagues at all levels. A flexible, customer-focused approach is required, along with the initiative to resolve issues. Candidates should showcase strong time management skills and demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively. Experience in developing training courses and support materials is also necessary. Furthermore, familiarity with systems such as DMS (e.g., iManage/WorkSite), MSTeams, M365, Copilot (or delivery of AI initiatives), Windows 10/Windows 11, time recording systems (e.g., Intapp Time), InterAction, Mimecast, or video editing software (e.g., Camtasia or Captivate) would be advantageous. We welcome those with titles such as IT Training Specialist, Technology Trainer, System Trainer, User Engagement Specialist, and L&D (IT) Trainer.
Responsibilities
As an IT Trainer, you will provide induction training to new colleagues and deliver upskilling programs, whether remotely or at-desk. Your role will also involve supporting the rollout of new or updated software and systems. You will design innovative courses and programs for assigned projects, creating user documentation or videos to enhance training efforts. Maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS) and staying updated on existing technologies, as well as learning new systems or improvements, will be crucial. You will contribute ideas for initiatives and process improvements while analyzing the quality and effectiveness of training to support the business. Additionally, you will assist the IT Service Desk in resolving queries logged to the training team, helping the firm enhance productivity, compliance, and security, and ensuring the workforce maximizes technology investments.
