Requirements
Must:
- Proven extensive knowledge of Azure adhering to best practices in Azure security.
- Background in Infrastructure/Network Administration/Dev Ops.
- Extensive proven working experience of maintaining vulnerability management solutions and remediating system vulnerabilities.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
- Experience configuring cloud networking types (VNET, Private Link, NSG, VPN Gateway/Express Route, WAF).
- Load Balancing (Application gateway, Azure Front Door).
- Experience with Zero Trust Networking Principles.
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure, AWS or other cloud computing technologies.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, as well as part of a wider team.
- Proven knowledge of managing and maintaining cybersecurity products.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and industry standards such as CIS and ISO27001.
- ITIL foundation certification or knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Several years experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Azure Tools including IAC tools such as Terraform (desirable).
- Knowledge of Network Application load balancing products such as F5 or equivalent (desirable).
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of technical engineers, providing leadership and direction.
- Implement highly scalable, secure, and cutting-edge cloud-based solutions.
- Assist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure on Azure.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, key stakeholders, and data engineers.
- Drive the design, automation, and continuous improvement of platform processes and services.
- Manage and maintain the firms network infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Deploy and create scalable cloud solutions, architecting and implementing reliable solutions using Azure services.
- Design and plan cloud architecture that aligns with organization strategies, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
- Create and maintain solution documentation for cloud network security.
- Manage the firms vulnerability management solutions and remediate vulnerabilities in line with firm policies.
- Ensure all infrastructure is patched according to the firms patching policy schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Server edge connect-related issues, documenting all steps in the IT Service Management tool.
- Provide advanced technical support to other department teams.
- Ensure all systems and services are proactively monitored with tools used by the IT Department.
- Liaise with vendors and external partners to ensure service adequacy.
- Ensure all systems and services have adequate BCDR protection in place.
- Ensure that all configurations are backed up per the firms backup policy.
