Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to have a Degree in Engineering or an equivalent STEM-based discipline, or an equivalent NVQ levels 4 to 6 qualification or experience.
- I seek individuals with a working level of experience in conducting technical assessments, capable of drawing sound conclusions and communicating effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the capability to prioritize a varied workload to ensure timely delivery.
- A methodical approach to complex problem solving using technical knowledge is expected, as well as flexibility during times of change.
- An excellent understanding of product lifecycle management methodologies and tools is necessary, as candidates will support the organization in delivering the people, processes, and technologies to meet our goals with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- I want you to manage AWE's Information Services and PLM applications and participate in developing its future strategy.
- You will be responsible for managing system configuration changes of the PLM applications through sprints and effectively managing projects as they transition into live operations.
- Candidates should work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to enable sprints, project work, and ensure delivery throughout the life of the project.
- I expect you to identify future PLM upgrade options and areas of under-utilized capabilities that will add value to our business.
- You will liaise with specialist PLM contractors and suppliers, attend supplier briefings and conferences to stay informed about new releases, and participate in Review, Learn, and Improve activities to implement best practices.
- Your role will also include working with the Business Relationship Manager and PLM Product and Delivery Manager to assess future demand and implement changes and new systems or programs within our group.
