Responsibilities

As our Service Desk Team Leader / IT Support Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence. You will lead and manage a team of 1st and 2nd Line Service Desk Engineers, providing support, coaching, and ongoing development to your team. Your duties will include inspiring your team to deliver outstanding customer service by setting clear KPIs and OLAs, holding regular one-on-one meetings, and fostering trust through open communication and creative thinking. You will manage the Service Desk rota and resources to ensure a responsive service that meets our SLAs, produce key performance reports, manage client escalations, and collaborate with the IT Services Manager to continuously improve processes in line with industry standards. Additionally, you will proactively identify skills gaps in your team, plan training to support their professional growth, and promote a healthy work-life balance.
