Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience of supporting complex business or software applications
- High level of computer literacy with a logical and analytical mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dynamic and energetic approach to problem solving
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Experience in a senior or leadership support role (desirable)
- Knowledge of MS Windows and Linux operating systems (desirable)
- Understanding of networking and TCP/IP fundamentals (desirable)
- Familiarity with Exchange or similar email systems (desirable)
- Exposure to financial or accounting software systems (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Responding to customer enquiries via helpdesk systems and telephone
- Diagnosing and resolving application and system faults
- Ensuring high availability and reliability of supported applications
- Maintaining accurate records of support activities and resolutions
- Assisting in migration from legacy to web-based applications
- Working closely with developers and analysts to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Ensuring all support interactions meet high standards of professionalism and communication
- Keeping up to date with product developments, updates, and new modules
