We are seeking a Senior Wintel Infrastructure Engineer / Azure Cloud Engineer with essential experience in a WINTEL or Systems Engineering role, preferably within an enterprise or regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing Windows Server platforms and Active Directory. Additional requirements include:
- Strong experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Virtual Apps/Desktops, and Xen hypervisor technologies.
- Exposure to Cyber Essentials plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services, specifically Microsoft Azure and Hybrid environments.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Citrix certification (e.g., CCA-V).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach.
- Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
Desired qualifications include working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Exchange, and O365 administration, as well as familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and backup tools. A solid understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls) is also advantageous.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Wintel Infrastructure Engineer / Azure Cloud Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Administering, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server environments ranging from 2016 to 2022.
- Maintaining Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and certificate services across multiple domains.
- Supporting virtual infrastructure, including VMware vSphere and Citrix DaaS/XenServer.
- Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of disaster recovery solutions and backup strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, ISO27001, and PCI DSS v4.0.
- Providing 3rd line support and conducting root cause analysis for complex issues.
- Writing PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline administrative tasks.
- Documenting system configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.
- Participating in infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration.
