Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in software development within a commercial environment
- Experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Strong UI/UX skills with advanced knowledge of CSS
- Experience working with SQL databases at a basic to intermediate level
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Eligibility to obtain government SC-level security clearance, including UK residency requirements
- Experience using graphic design and prototyping tools such as Figma (desirable)
- Exposure to low-code development platforms (desirable)
- Knowledge of ITIL principles or certification (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing high-quality corporate web-based applications
- Building responsive, accessible interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and advanced CSS
- Supporting server-side development using SQL and a low-code development platform
- Acting as technical and UI/UX lead on assigned client projects
- Creating performant and scalable solutions suitable for large organisations
- Working closely with Project Leads and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practice

This full-time, permanent role involves working on business-critical digital applications for major public and private sector organisations. Our client project teams consist of 3 to 10 people, with projects typically lasting between 3 and 9 months. We value long-term stability and the chance to work on high-impact projects, including those for the Ministry of Defence, Emergency Services, Home Office, HMRC, and NHS.
