Must:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following essential qualifications:
- Proven experience of developing applications in C# within a commercial environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based architecture.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, including database design and implementation.
- Experience integrating APIs and mobile platforms.
- A strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in using Agile methodologies and Git source control.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience in customer-facing roles or direct client liaison.
- Knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.
- Previous experience within the fuel delivery or logistics sector.
- A full UK driving licence and passport for occasional travel.
Responsibilities
As a C# Software Developer, your duties will include:
- Developing and enhancing a cloud-based fuel delivery platform built using C# and SQL Server.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Integrating systems by connecting with third-party APIs and remote Android devices using synchronization and notification services.
- Designing and implementing database designs and UI components for a seamless user experience.
- Managing code through source control tools such as Git for effective version management.
- Following Agile methods to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Providing technical support by troubleshooting and resolving application issues both independently and as part of a team.
- Engaging with clients by communicating progress and technical updates to customers and stakeholders.
Description
We offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced C# Software Developer to be part of a growing technology team that supports and enhances our fuel delivery software platform using C#, SQL Server, and Azure-based solutions. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will benefit from 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays, group healthcare, an employee assistance programme, a company pension, a modern collaborative work environment, and opportunities for professional development and growth. Our work environment is hybrid, based in Manchester, North West England (M17), with flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, totaling 39 hours per week around the core hours of 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
