Requirements
Must:
- A valid Driving Licence is required for this position.
- Ability to understand each customer’s existing technical setup and have insights to identify and recommend appropriate solutions, products, and services.
- Familiarity with installing and repairing self-install products/services requiring simple remedies.
- Skills in setting up and/or changing settings that customers are able to access.
- Experience in accessing configuration stores and performing simple cabling tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
Responsibilities
- I will install, set up, optimise, and repair business hubs, including performing simple remedies such as restarting devices or changing user settings.
- I will provide technical guidance and advice on solutions to enhance customer experience.
- I will set up client applications and services on customer devices, often completing tasks traditionally available for customer self-service upon request.
- I will deliver brief tutorials to customers on newly configured services to ensure satisfaction.
- I will actively listen to service-related issues, resolving them directly or escalating them as necessary.
- I will provide deskside support for users of client-supported devices (laptops, PCs, and printers) and participate in scheduled rollouts, migrations, and system setups.
- I will install predefined computer images onto desktops and laptops in the event of severe system failures.
- I will manage hardware repairs through customer-defined warranty routes and provide alternative solutions to minimise user inconvenience.
- I will perform diagnostic services, collaborate with service desks and external support parties, and provide data recovery services as per customer contracts.
Description
This position is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, and is a temporary freelance role with a contract length of 2 months. The pay starts from £3,000.00 per month. I offer benefits such as on-site parking. The expected start date for this role is 13/11/2025. The role involves working in the field on a daily basis, including on-site customer engagements, where I will ensure customer services and solutions are optimally set up and utilised. My responsibilities also include making recommendations for new solutions and promoting or selling these solutions to customers when appropriate.
