We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in automation systems, such as conveyors, cranes, shuttles, TMS, and PLC/WCS/WMS. Experience in commissioning, testing, system integration, or similar roles is essential. Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, and defect management workflows is required, along with a valid ECS/CSCS card for site access. You should be a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and proficient in Excel and reporting.

Responsibilities
In this role, I will manage and track defects using Jira and TestRail, ensuring accurate updates and timely resolutions. I will update and manage defect logs and dashboards, working closely with engineering and integration teams to clarify issues and support troubleshooting. I will maintain test documentation, update scripts, and produce ad-hoc reports. Additionally, I will ensure dashboards are kept up to date, reflecting real-time defect and test status, and attend the site occasionally to gather updates or verify defect fixes.

Description
We’re offering a competitive day rate of £400 (outside IR35), with increased rates for weekend and night overtime (£450 per day). This is an initial 6-month contract with a Monday to Friday schedule from 0700 to 1700. We want to hear from talented Test Engineers seeking a rewarding and challenging position.
