Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React experience a bonus, not essential)
- Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable maintaining legacy systems while supporting technology modernisation
- A thoughtful, methodical and customer-focused approach to development
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core product features using PHP (Laravel)
- Support and integrate third-party tools such as HubSpot and Stripe
- Contribute to the ongoing transition towards a React/JavaScript Front End
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Enhance system stability, scalability and performance through continuous improvement
Description
We are a progressive, collaborative development team based in Brighton, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help modernise our technology stack and enhance user experience. This role offers the chance to make a real impact by shaping how our platform evolves and performs. Youll join a close-knit team where your ideas will be valued, and your work will have visible impact. We typically work three days per week from our Brighton office, with hybrid flexibility for the remainder of the week.
