Requirements
Must:
We are seeking candidates with experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), information security, or cybersecurity consulting, specifically within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sectors such as Energy, Transport, Water, Telecoms, or Government. A strong knowledge of the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), NIS/NIS2 Directive, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) is essential. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies (e.g., ISO 31000, NIST 800-30) and security assurance frameworks is also required. Additionally, candidates should possess knowledge of supply chain security and operational technology (OT) security challenges, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are highly desirable, and we require SC clearance.
Responsibilities
As a Security Consultant, you will develop and implement security policies, standards, and frameworks in alignment with CAF, NIS/NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS. You will conduct risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance. Your role will involve providing guidance on regulatory compliance for CNI organizations, ensuring adherence to government-mandated security requirements. You will support incident response planning, supply chain security, and resilience strategies, working closely with stakeholders to enhance security governance and risk management processes. Additionally, you will support security awareness training and facilitate best practice adoption within CNI environments.
Description
This position is fully remote in the UK, with a duration of 6 months and a competitive rate of £580 inside IR35.
