Requirements
Must:
- Solid Azure experience (Entra ID, Conditional Access, VMs, M365)
- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments
- Strong Windows Server knowledge
- Good networking fundamentals (switches, firewalls, connectivity)
- Experience managing and resolving technical tickets
- Basic SQL query experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong work ethic and collaborative approach
Responsibilities
- Supporting and developing Azure infrastructure (Entra ID, VMs, M365, Conditional Access)
- Working across both cloud and on-prem environments (currently hybrid)
- Managing networking infrastructure including switches and firewalls
- Handling support tickets alongside the team
- Acting as an escalation point for complex issues
- Supporting starter/leaver processes and core IT operations
- Running basic SQL queries when required
- Contributing to infrastructure modernisation and global growth projects
- Providing occasional out-of-hours support when needed
Description
We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our York-based IT team at an exciting time of growth and transformation. Youll be joining a small, collaborative team supporting both UK and US operations. Our environment is dynamic, and you will have direct access to leadership, with no hierarchy barriers.
