Requirements
Must:
- Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Git, Bash, TypeScript or other typed languages
- Experience with Vue or other front-end JavaScript frameworks
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (Sass), and JavaScript
- Familiarity with relevant software design patterns and paradigms (OOP, DDD, MVC, microservices, containers/orchestration, event-driven architecture)
- Ability to create straightforward and well-tested code
- Experience taking ownership of tasks and problems
- Advantageous experience working with Investment or Pensions platforms
Responsibilities
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, building and testing features, and managing deployment
- Support the service in production as part of a distributed team
- Make iterative improvements to the product while adhering to design and architectural principles
- Seek continuous improvements in product, processes, and practices while eliminating friction and waste
- Implement automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
- Work outside of specialism when needed and help the team get things done regardless of individual core competencies
