Requirements
Must:
- Solid background in programming and validating Java software within a MicroServices environment, currently using Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.35
- Knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring Framework with experience of developing in Spring with Hibernate
- Solid knowledge of Web Services using RESTful APIs
- Experience with CI/CD delivery techniques
- Knowledge and use of software design patterns
- Good communication skills to champion tech approaches and help lead tech transformations

Responsibilities
- Development of code within an agile environment (scrum) in line with the System Design
- Development of Unit Tests to support developed code
- Alignment to project coding standards and guidelines, enforced using tools such as SonarQube
- Ability to work with the Atlassian suite of products
- Ability to work closely and interact with both System and Test Engineers
- Support task estimation in accordance with sprint planning
- Attend daily stand-up meetings, sprint retrospectives, and iteration reviews
- Attend product team reviews, as needed, to understand the System Model and validate maturity
