Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical support role, ideally within an MSP environment
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent written and verbal troubleshooting skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft or CompTIA
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune)
- Familiarity with virtualisation tools (Hyper V or VMware)
- Understanding of Windows Server components (Active Directory, Group Policy, file shares, permissions, SQL)
- Knowledge of networking principles (DHCP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, TCP IP, routers)
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis)
- Familiarity with VoIP systems, preferably 3CX
- Desirable experience with cloud migrations and device management
Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site IT support to over 130 businesses across Yorkshire and beyond
- Organise and manage your own workload, ensuring accurate time logging on all tasks
- Attend client sites as required
- Act as a technical escalation point for junior team members
- Manage customer expectations by providing clear advice and realistic timeframes
- Occasionally travel to further afield with all expenses paid
