Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11 with the ability to troubleshoot and support end-user environments
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Hands-on experience building and configuring Windows laptops and joining devices to Active Directory
- Ability to handle physical IT equipment for office moves and hardware setups
- Familiarity with configuring and supporting Apple iOS devices, particularly iPhones
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Genuine eagerness to learn and support others
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within established processes
- Self-motivated with proactive teamwork skills
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication
- Proactive approach to IT deployment, including implementing solutions and applying patches efficiently
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
- Confidence to develop innovative solutions that enhance and support remote working environments
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer-facing representative of the IT department
- Respond to support requests logged through the service desk application
- Manage service desk tickets and deliver timely and effective support to our user base
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth IT operations
- Promote and enforce information security best practices across the organization
- Contribute to maintaining our ISO27001:2022 Information Security certification
- Drive continuous improvement in IT services
- Work from our London office at least one day per week on a rota basis to ensure IT support is visible and accessible to remote staff
Description
We are ADS, offering a permanent, full-time position for a Group IT Support Engineer with a hybrid working arrangement. You will work three days a week in our Farnborough office and one day in our London office, with the option for two days remote work.
