Requirements

Must:
- Over 5 years of experience leading & managing multiple complex projects in agile environments. - Experience in both Scrum and Kanban methodologies. - Excellent verbal & written communication skills, able to adapt to various audiences (team, management, executive, business, etc.). - Strong project and process management skills, including industry-standard project management techniques. - Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, MS SharePoint, Webex, MS Office & Project. - Experience working with offshore teams and across multiple time zones. - Proven ability to manage challenging team dynamics and personnel issues. - Excellent presentation skills, able to update stakeholders in small or large group settings using tools like MS PowerPoint. - Change management experience in a software development environment. - Degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences or related field. - PMP certified or equivalent with a solid foundation in project management principles. - Certified Scrum Master with prior experience in running agile project teams.

Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the project process, deliverables, and communication frameworks, including administration of project collaboration tools. - Create and maintain project plans, milestones, and schedules in collaboration with project teams, ensuring alignment with project deadlines. - Manage and negotiate project scope and scope change controls between project teams and key stakeholders for traditional SDLC projects. - Facilitate Scrum teams in delivering successful projects, ensuring adherence to all Scrum ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle. - Act as an Agile coach for newly formed teams and projects. - Track and resolve project issues, impediments, and team conflicts; facilitate escalation of unresolvable issues to appropriate sponsors. - Report project progress to stakeholders and senior management, preparing status reports and facilitating project meetings. - Manage project resource budgets and address discrepancies between baseline and actual time reporting and expenses. - Identify project risks in conjunction with the project team and stakeholders, define and track mitigation plans regularly. - Facilitate impact analysis and estimation of all project deliverables across functional disciplines. - Partner with Client Groups to define and maintain product or portfolio-based roadmaps broken down into executable projects. - Direct the efforts of project managers in executing program initiatives in a matrixed environment. - Participate in business reviews of the portfolio and present IT plans while maintaining the IT portion of the portfolio budget. - Act as an escalation point for project managers regarding issues that cannot be resolved at the project level.
