Must:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who has strong experience with .NET Core, C#, and SQL. Proficiency with Azure Cloud and an eagerness to learn Kubernetes are essential. A solid understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and agile methodologies will be invaluable. Additionally, we require experience with event-driven design and reusable service architecture, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial, as is a passion for automation and eliminating duplication. You should also possess the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering robust backend solutions. Major responsibilities will include collaborating on technical designs and contributing to architectural decisions while ensuring best practices are consistently applied across our team. You will write clean, scalable code using .NET Core and C#, operating within an Azure Cloud environment supported by Kubernetes. Troubleshooting integration issues, improving internal processes, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience will also be part of your role. Estimating project timelines, managing technical debt, and clarifying requirements with stakeholders will be essential tasks. You will contribute to the quality and reliability of digital services used by millions. Participation in a wider technology design community is encouraged, allowing you to help shape engineering standards and future practices. Mentoring junior developers, reviewing code, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement are important aspects of this position. Staying current with emerging technologies and evaluating new tools will keep our team at the forefront of innovation. A proactive mindset is essential for driving technical excellence and delivering meaningful value to our customers and internal teams.
