Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with commercial experience in scientific or mathematical software, and extensive experience in Java. Any experience working with maps or GIS is highly desirable. Ideally, you will hold a degree in a numerate discipline. Experience with JavaScript, PrimeFaces, C#.Net, WildFly, Azure, PostgreSQL, Junit, and Playwright will be considered advantageous. We value candidates who have an aptitude for learning and promote self-improvement along with great collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work on multiple codebases with different stacks and varying levels of maturity. Each day will present new challenges; you may support the QA team by fixing bugs and writing tests, develop new functionality, or research and test algorithms and techniques. Tasks may include developing a GeoJSON interface, implementing functionality to manage transport-sharing eligibility, and engineering scalable automated capabilities, including Artificial Intelligence. As we expand overseas, we seek individuals who embrace challenges, are eager to learn, and are focused on making continuous improvements.
