Must:
We are looking for someone with strong experience in JavaScript and React. You should have a solid understanding of the software engineering lifecycle and agile methodologies. Experience with component reusability, Redux, and event-driven design is essential. You must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. A passion for automation and eliminating duplication, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, is crucial.
Responsibilities
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable web applications. You will collaborate on technical designs and contribute to architectural decisions, impacting the usability and performance of digital services accessed by millions. Your development work will focus on JavaScript and React within an Azure Cloud environment supported by Kubernetes. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting integration issues, improving internal processes, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. You will estimate timelines, manage technical debt, and clarify requirements with stakeholders. Participation in the wider technology design community is encouraged, allowing you to help shape engineering standards and mentor junior developers. Staying current with emerging technologies and evaluating new tools will be part of your role to maintain innovation within the team.
