Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a senior-level/Enterprise Data Architect in a regulated, client-focused environment (ideally financial services).
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, and an awareness of the wider vendor landscape (e.g., Adobe, Braze, etc.).

- Sound knowledge of modern data architecture approaches: data mesh, fabric, warehouse, etc.
- Technical background in data modeling, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and ETL/ELT.

- I will bring clarity where there currently isn't much, laying down foundations, frameworks, and standards that will guide how data is managed, modeled, and used in the future.
- This includes setting principles for governance, assessing vendors, and advising on whether data mesh, fabric, or warehousing solutions best suit our business needs.
- I will act as a voice of reason and challenge, holding my own in conversations with engineering and architecture peers.
Description
I am excited to announce that I am looking for someone to help architect the future of data at our leading financial services firm. In return, I offer an excellent salary of up to £120,000 and a fantastic bonus. We have a flexible working environment, with a preference for 1-2 days a week in the office located in the South West, but I am open to more flexible arrangements as well.

I will review your application as soon as possible and then arrange a call to discuss the role and opportunity in more detail.
