Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a product specialist, application specialist, or technical sales support role
- Ideally from a background in weighing technology, food processing, or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of the sales process and commitment to excellent customer service
- Technically minded with the ability to explain complex solutions in a clear, engaging way
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Willing to travel occasionally within the UK
- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent (technical qualification or degree desirable)
Responsibilities
- Provide expert product and application knowledge to support both customers and internal sales teams
- Analyse customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to meet operational needs
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions
- Work closely with sales teams to develop customised proposals and quotations
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical or application-related issues
- Gather and relay customer feedback to support product improvements and innovation
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
- Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
