Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a degree-level graduate with at least 1 year of industry experience, or a standout recent graduate, who has a solid understanding of design for manufacturing and various manufacturing techniques. Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software is essential, while experience with embedded electronics is a strong advantage. You should possess strong analytical skills and a keen awareness of market trends. Being technically minded, highly creative, and eager to learn is crucial. Additionally, you need to be confident in troubleshooting and maintaining accurate project documentation.
Responsibilities
As a New Product Developer, you will develop and manage new product ideas from concept to completion. Your role will include researching market trends and identifying emerging opportunities. You will create detailed product specifications, CAD models (SolidWorks), and production files (DXFs). Collaboration across teams will be essential to harness internal creativity and insight. You will also liaise with suppliers to build and maintain effective working relationships, ensure the feasibility of designs, including capital cost calculations, and provide product support using tools like Spiceworks. Additionally, you will produce graphics and product videos using Adobe Premiere.
