Must:
- Previous experience of troubleshooting, repairing, and testing laptops and PCs is essential
- Ideally, you will have experience in electronics training
- Effective communication skills to provide technical information/support to end-users
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
Responsibilities
- Assisting with testing, diagnostics, and replacing/repairing faulty components in the Repair Centre
- Conducting PAT testing
- Liaising with Tech Agents to request specification information of PCs/laptops
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software
- Performing computer networking tasks, including setting up and maintaining network connections
- Using hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble and disassemble computer systems
Description
We are recruiting for a Computer Technician for an immediate start in Dorcan, Swindon. This role offers flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, with start times between 7 am and 9 am, and consists of an 8-hour shift per day. The salary ranges from £26K to £27K per annum, depending on experience. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent, and we provide electronics training to support your development.
