Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Security Architect with a strong understanding of cloud engineering, particularly AWS, and familiarity with multi-cloud environments. You should possess skills in Terraform, Python, and CI/CD tooling. You must have experience with Security as Code/DevSecOps, particularly embedding security into engineering pipelines. Additionally, you will need expertise in designing frameworks and governance models for enterprise technology. A strong knowledge of enterprise technology, security, or compliance is essential. We value your ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, business, and security functions, as well as your strong awareness of governance and control frameworks in enterprise environments. Excellent communication and influencing skills are critical for winning stakeholder buy-in.
Responsibilities
As a Security Architect, you will bridge the gap between governance, engineering, and business strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Converting technology and governance standards into policies as code.
- Integrating policies and controls via APIs.
- Designing and building scalable automation using AWS, Python, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
- Driving adoption of security and governance through practical, developer-friendly solutions.
- Translating governance objectives into actionable outcomes.
- Defining frameworks that align with enterprise priorities.
- Embedding governance into team workflows without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Applying your knowledge of enterprise technology, cloud, security, or compliance to support delivery.
- Ensuring policies and controls align with industry standards and best practices.
- Influencing adoption across engineering and business teams.
Description
This role focuses on embedding security as code into our enterprise ways of working, ensuring that our frameworks are practical, scalable, and enable delivery rather than block it. You will help shape security policies and standards and directly implement them in code to support developer adoption.
