Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience in a SOC or similar security operations role. A strong understanding of security principles, threat landscapes, and incident response is essential. You should have hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, SentinelOne, or Chronicle. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security is important. Excellent analytical and communication skills are also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents across both cloud and on-prem environments. You will need to perform threat hunting and analysis using SIEM, EDR, and other security tools. Collaboration with internal teams to improve detection and response capabilities is crucial. Additionally, you will support incident response activities and contribute to post-incident reviews. Maintaining and tuning security monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance will also be part of your responsibilities.
