Requirements
Must:
- Experience working in a 1st or 2nd Line Technical Support position, where you've been responsible for helping users solve their technical cases.
- A good knowledge of the Windows Operating Systems, with a basic understanding of LAN and WAN technologies.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, LAN and WAN technologies, and a sound ability to practice IT security fundamentals.
- Exposure to working with or administrating Active Directory.
- Experience supporting applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Any experience supporting other applications such as Adobe, Print Management, or any VoIP technology is beneficial, but not essential.
- A basic understanding of IT security fundamentals.
- A passion for troubleshooting! We are looking for a natural problem solver who loves to face new challenges daily.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, as our internal users are our customers, and you should demonstrate a desire to help people.
- A desire to learn and willingness to take on new challenges while thriving on learning new technology.
Responsibilities
- You will join our internal IT team as a Desktop Support Engineer, working alongside fellow technology enthusiasts.
- Act as the first point of call for resolving technical cases for a diverse range of users, including providing VIP support.
- Shadow the IT Manager and assist in running new projects related to the development of our IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot technical issues while also having opportunities to administrate and maintain our core infrastructure.
- Challenge yourself by learning and implementing new technologies as they emerge.
