Requirements
Must:
- Strong Windows 10/11 support experience
- Solid Microsoft 365 support experience (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender)
- Proven Active Directory experience (user management, permissions, resets)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (device enrolment, compliance, endpoint issues)
- Experience using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, FreshService or similar) and working to SLAs
- Familiarity with Azure (Entra)
- Microsoft Defender and/or Sentinel experience
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VPN troubleshooting)

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to 500+ staff across the business
- Handle day-to-day IT issues and log/manage tickets
- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Configure devices and ensure correct access provisioning
- Manage user accounts through Active Directory and Azure
- Troubleshoot endpoint issues and apply compliance policies using Intune
- Work with endpoint security tools like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
- Communicate effectively with non-technical users to resolve issues
Description
We are a well-established, growing business located in Central Birmingham, offering a 6-month contract for an IT Service Desk Analyst. With a strong chance of extension, we provide competitive rates of £275 - £300 per day (Outside IR35). Our team is focused on ensuring smooth IT operations while supporting our internal users in a hands-on, straightforward manner.
