Requirements
Must:
- Strong payments experience (essential)
- Issuing, prepaid, virtual cards, digital wallets expertise
- Card lifecycle management knowledge (authorisation, clearing, settlement, chargebacks)
- Proven background in FinTech environments
- Experience with modern payments platforms / APIs
- Strong as-is to to-be transformation experience
- Deep understanding of payments regulations and compliance considerations
- Experience working in agile / product-led environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced delivery setting
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed as-is discovery across card issuing, processing, and payments workflows
- Define and document clear to-be operating models, process flows, and system interactions
- Translate business and product requirements into high-quality documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps)
- Work closely with Product Owners to shape and refine roadmap initiatives
- Facilitate workshops across Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Commercial teams
- Drive impact assessments and gap analysis across payments platforms
- Support UAT, defect triage, and production readiness activities
- Ensure traceability from requirements through to delivery
Description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst with payments and FinTech expertise to support ongoing product and platform initiatives. This role is based on a 6-month rolling contract, paying between £450 - £500 per day. We value strong experience delivering end-to-end change across regulated payments environments. Joining our team, you will work collaboratively across technology and commercial teams globally, driving impactful transformation in a fast-paced delivery setting.
