Requirements
Must:
- Strong background as a Storage Engineer in enterprise-scale environments
- Proven experience deploying Pure Storage solutions
- Hands-on experience with data migrations from Dell EMC VMAX and Commvault
- Deep expertise in SAN and NAS storage technologies
- Strong understanding of Fibre Channel, zoning, LUN management, replication, and DR strategies
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Current and active SC clearance (mandatory)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Experience working within secure or government environments (desirable)
- Automation/scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) (desirable)
- Familiarity with cloud-integrated storage platforms (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and optimise Pure Storage arrays
- Lead data migrations from Dell EMC VMAX and Commvault systems
- Deliver expert-level support and management across SAN and NAS platforms
- Oversee storage provisioning, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Troubleshoot complex storage incidents in high-availability environments
- Support upgrades, lifecycle management, and transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and backup teams to ensure end-to-end integration
- Produce clear documentation and operational runbooks
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Sn Storage Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise storage transformation. This contract role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days in London and is set for a duration of 6 months rolling, starting from January 5th. We require a contractor with extensive hands-on experience deploying Pure Storage solutions and managing complex data migrations across both NAS and SAN environments. This Inside IR35 position offers competitive rates of £500 - £550 per day and emphasizes collaboration with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations.
