Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, or similar)
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Designing and improving system reliability, scalability, and observability
- Leading incident management and driving root cause analysis
- Building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Partnering with development teams to embed SRE principles into the SDLC
- Mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practices
Description
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to play a key role in designing and operating highly reliable, scalable systems in a fast-paced environment. This position is hybrid based in Wokingham, offering up to £75,000 plus benefits. You will have the opportunity to influence technical direction and best practices while working on large-scale, mission-critical systems, with clear progression to principal level.
