Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with at least 6 years of experience in backend or full-stack software development. A strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Bash is essential. You should possess a deep understanding of API technologies such as REST, GraphQL, and XML-RPC, and have experience connecting UI frameworks to backend systems. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are also required. It would be nice if you have experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or jQuery, as well as familiarity with Linux systems, virtualization, and networking. System programming experience in C will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Backend Engineer, I expect you to design, develop, and maintain high-quality APIs and backend services. You will architect scalable software solutions and contribute to overall system design. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions will be key, and you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, providing them with technical leadership. Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing performance across systems will be part of your role, as well as staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
