Requirements
Must:
- Experience of Java
- Experience of Spring framework or equivalent
- Knowledge of software design patterns and when to apply them
- Excellent knowledge of development processes
- Experience of containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
- A passion for delivering quality code, by use of TDD and setting high software quality standards
- Familiarity with designing microservice-based architectures using domain driven design (DDD), CQRS, and Event Sourcing patterns (preferred)
- Knowledge/Certification in Spring framework (preferred)
- Experience in cloud technologies AWS/Azure/GCP (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Act as a hands-on technical expert delivering projects in a DevOps manner
- Apply a software engineering mindset to various problems including provisioning services and writing automation tools
- Strive to build reliable and performant services that are operationally sound
- Continuously seek to improve and streamline processes across the software delivery lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal customers and end users to enhance service delivery
