Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange (2010 & 2016)
- Experience with Lync/Skype for Business (2015 & 2019)
- Strong knowledge of SMTP Secure Gateways and Skype Federation
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently
Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults, managing incidents, and resolving requests promptly to maintain system performance.
- Project Coordination: Supporting project work, liaising with project managers, and helping deliver tasks efficiently.
- Operational Management: Coordinating queues for incidents, problems, and requests while working closely with other teams to meet BAU SLA commitments.
- Infrastructure Projects: Getting involved in new IT infrastructure projects that drive innovation.
- Overtime Work: Being available to work overtime to cover outage slots when necessary.
Description
We are seeking a talented Exchange & Skype Engineer to join our End User Services UK department. In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to work across collaborative systems and applications while supporting high-profile clients. The position is located in Barrow-In-Furness, and we offer a relocation allowance. This is a full-time, on-site, permanent role with a base salary of £40,000 plus benefits, perks, and health benefits. Please note, you will need to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance to be successfully appointed, which requires that you have resided continuously within the UK for the last 5 years, among other criteria.
