Requirements
Must:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in a professional environment
- Exposure to GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, or Vertex AI
- Experience supporting the implementation of cloud infrastructure or data platforms
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally using Terraform
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within project teams
- Good communication skills and an interest in developing a client-facing consulting career
- Relevant certifications such as Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect (desirable)
- Experience with data engineering, analytics platforms, or machine learning technologies (desirable)
- Exposure to cloud migration or modernisation programmes (desirable)
- Knowledge of security or compliance practices within cloud environments (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Work with clients to understand technical requirements and contribute to solution design
- Help deliver cloud migration, platform modernisation, and cloud-native solutions
- Assist with the design and development of data platforms and analytics solutions
- Contribute to the implementation of AI or machine learning solutions where appropriate
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
- Support the creation of technical documentation including solution designs and implementation plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Follow best practices around security, governance, and cost optimisation (FinOps)
