Requirements
Must:
We require a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle. A degree or higher-level apprenticeship in Computing, Electronics, or Communications (or equivalent experience) is also essential. You should possess strong troubleshooting skills for complex enterprise and data centre networks, along with hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (routing, switching, wireless, ACI, F5, cloud). Knowledge of network security, automation, and scripting is important. We value collaboration and adaptability, so excellent communication skills are a must. Additionally, you should be willing to support out-of-hours work and on-call duties.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will have you deliver planned works, maintenance, and project activities across diverse network systems. You will respond to faults and outages, ensuring rapid restoration and service continuity. Managing the full lifecycle of network device upgrades, commissioning, and decommissioning will also be part of your responsibilities. I expect you to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with operational standards. You will collaborate with our engineering teams to ensure smooth transitions of solutions and support continuous improvement and innovation across our operations. Engaging with stakeholders and suppliers to maintain quality and service performance will be essential, as will applying your expertise in data centre, cloud, and network automation technologies.
