Requirements
Must:
- 1+ years penetration testing experience
- Cyber security degree or equivalent experience
- OSCP or CREST certification (or working towards)
- Experience testing infrastructure, web applications, APIs, cloud, mobile, and wireless environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, SQLmap, Kali Linux, and Metasploit
- Knowledge of OWASP testing methodologies
- Experience with vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys)
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments across client environments
- Test infrastructure, web applications, APIs, mobile, WiFi, cloud, and Kubernetes environments
- Produce clear technical reports and present findings to clients
- Provide remediation advice and security improvement recommendations
- Support the Security Operations Centre with threat and vulnerability insights
- Contribute to internal documentation, procedures, and service development
- Support and mentor junior team members
Description
We are a global managed security services provider seeking a Penetration Tester to join our growing cyber security team. This fully remote permanent role offers a salary of approximately £40-70k depending on experience. You will work across both public and private sector environments, helping organizations identify vulnerabilities and strengthen their security posture while contributing to the development of our cyber security practice.
