Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an IT support role
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and team-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or HNC/HND in IT would be beneficial
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)
- Familiarity with Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID
- Understanding of Multi-Factor Authentication and Conditional Access
- Experience with cloud-based systems and security tools
- Familiarity with cloud telephony systems
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to users across multiple offices
- Manage and resolve support requests through the helpdesk system
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Liaise with external suppliers and support providers when required
- Assist with maintaining network, device and system security
- Support staff with training and guidance on IT systems
- Contribute to IT projects and continuous improvement of systems
Description
We are seeking an IT Support Technician for a permanent role based in Banbury. This is an onsite position with usual hours from 9am to 5:30pm, offering some flexibility, such as 8am to 4:30pm. The salary ranges from £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience, plus a bonus. You will join our established in-house IT team, providing 1st and 2nd IT support to staff across multiple offices. Our collaborative, small IT team is dedicated to supporting users, maintaining systems, and delivering technology improvements across the organization.
