Requirements
Must:
- Experience administering housing, income, or financial systems
- Understanding of Direct Debit and BACS processing
- Proficiency in financial reconciliations
- Strong analytical and methodical skills
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve complex issues
- Effective management of competing deadlines and cyclical workloads
- Clear communication skills with both technical and operational colleagues
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Experience within local government or social housing (highly desirable)
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day administration of the housing system (Cx), including user accounts and permissions
- Managing daily Direct Debit and BACS files (ARUDD, ADDACS, AUDDIS)
- Processing cash payment files
- Uploading daily and monthly Universal Credit files
- Maintaining reconciliation spreadsheets and resolving discrepancies
- Monitoring and investigating suspense accounts
- Liaising with Income, Benefits, and Finance teams to resolve payment issues
- Monitoring scheduled processes and resolving failures
- Supporting system upgrades and configuration updates
- Working with IT and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues
- Producing statutory and operational returns (CORE, LAHS, LADR, NFI)
- Supporting KPI reporting requirements
- Maintaining and improving data quality and report accuracy
- Assisting with regulatory compliance and audit requirements
Description
We are currently seeking a Systems Analyst for an initial 3-month contract based in Warwickshire, with flexible working options of 1 day in the office and 4 from home. This is a pivotal role within our Communities & Homes service, where you will support the effective operation, maintenance, and ongoing development of our Housing Information Management System (Cx) and associated income processes. We offer a competitive daily rate of £350 - £450 and the possibility of contract extensions within an established organization.
