Requirements
Must:
- Expert level experience with NetApp storage systems including NetApp ONTAP (Clustered ONTAP)
- Configuration and support of Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs)
- Management of Snapshots and SnapMirror replication
- Design and support of enterprise storage solutions
- Firmware and ONTAP upgrades
- Storage migrations and data lifecycle management
- Backup and Disaster Recovery including ideally tools such as Cohesity and/or Rubrik
- Experience backing up and restoring enterprise databases
- Protection of VM-based infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Administer and support NetApp storage environments
- Optimize performance of storage solutions
- Lead project-based work related to storage systems
- Collaborate with the team to design enterprise storage solutions
- Conduct firmware and ONTAP upgrades
- Manage storage migrations and implement data lifecycle management practices
- Support backup and disaster recovery initiatives
Description
We are a forward-thinking company seeking a NetApp Senior Storage Engineer to join our enterprise infrastructure team on an initial 6-month contract. This hands-on role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work 1-2 days per week in the office. We value proactive infrastructure specialists with strong NetApp and enterprise backup expertise. The day rate for this position is £465 per day via an umbrella company.
