Must:

- Hands-on administration of NetApp storage systems
- Experience managing aggregates, volumes, LUNs, and qtrees
- Knowledge of NFS and CIFS/SMB protocols
- Proficiency in configuration and support of Storage Virtual Machines (SVMs)
- Experience with Snapshots and SnapMirror replication
- Capability in designing and supporting enterprise storage solutions
- Expertise in capacity planning and performance tuning
- Familiarity with high availability configurations (HA pairs, clustering)
- Experience in firmware and ONTAP upgrades
- Understanding of storage migrations and data lifecycle management
- Strong grasp of backup fundamentals (full, incremental, retention policies)
- Knowledge of RPO and RTO objectives
- Experience in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Skills in data integrity validation and restore testing
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade backup solutions, particularly Cohesity and Rubrik
- Experience backing up and restoring enterprise databases
- Proficiency in protecting VM-based infrastructure
- Skills in image-level backups and application-consistent snapshots
- Ideal candidates will hold industry certifications in NetApp
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability
- Ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments
- Clear documentation and effective communication skills
Responsibilities

Description
We are seeking an experienced NetApp Senior Storage Engineer to join our enterprise infrastructure team on an initial 6-month contract. This hands-on technical role focuses on the administration, support, and optimization of NetApp storage environments and modern enterprise backup platforms. Our workplace operates on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office 1-2 days per week. We offer a competitive day rate of £465 via an umbrella company.
