Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Coding experience in C++
- Strong technical background
- Experience in Linux-based environments
- Knowledge of software development/software engineering and unit testing
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in an Agile-based environment (highly desirable)
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Principles and Design Patterns
- Experience with other object-oriented programming languages (highly desirable)
- Any experience with Java and Shell Scripting (highly desirable)
- Ideally, a First Class BSc degree in a related field
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Develop software applications using C++ as the primary language
- Complete unit testing to ensure the software performs according to design
- Use JIRA to report on faults
