Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience designing for both software applications and marketing websites. - Strong proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, and prototyping. - Solid understanding of UX research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing. - Ability to balance creativity with usability and business objectives. - Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and design systems. - Excellent communication skills, able to present and justify design decisions clearly. - Experience working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment. - Awareness of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) and tools like Hotjar or Google Analytics (desirable). - Familiarity with SEO and CRO to support data-driven design decisions (desirable). - Advanced Figma skills including scalable design systems, interactive prototypes, and collaboration features (desirable). - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), atomic design principles, and inclusive design practices (desirable). - Ability to organise intuitive user flows, create personas and journey maps, and present design concepts aligned with business goals (desirable).

Responsibilities

- Design and prototype user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma. - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and refine user journeys. - Conduct user research and usability testing to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviours. - Translate complex requirements into elegant, intuitive, and accessible design solutions. - Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively. - Design marketing websites and landing pages that are visually engaging and conversion optimised. - Apply sound design principles, including hierarchy, contrast, consistency, and accessibility. - Ask thoughtful, strategic questions to uncover user needs and business goals. - Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and evolving user needs.

We are 3D Group, a growing team based in Nottingham, offering a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. We provide a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a 37.5-hour work week.
