Requirements
Must:
Experience technically leading a team to design and implement new features.
Understanding of the front-end development lifecycle.
Experience with RESTful services.
Development of backend services, preferably using Node.js.
Strong experience in HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript and the React framework.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong knowledge of Git source control.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of back-end languages or frameworks such as C#, PHP, Go, Kotlin, Python or Laravel. Passion for gaming - especially retro. Experience of writing games. Experience with Gamesparks. Familiarity with working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and Azure. Experience developing for multiplatforms such as iOS, Android and Desktop or Games Consoles within the gaming industry.Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be on the development of the platform user interface and backend service API’s, constantly striving to improve user experience by ensuring everything is as responsive and scalable as possible by delivering high quality and optimised code.
Providing updates, enhancements and new features to our platform UI.
Evangelise best practices through effective consultation with your peers.
Work with 3rd party vendors and continually review the latest technologies to help us stay ahead of the game.
Engage with the operations and engineering teams to automate and improve our tools and processes.
Write and review technical documentation.
